PICNIC IN GRAND HAVEN

The local twin club had planed a family picnic, but it rained all day. But I had all this food, so when it stoped raining later in the day - we got all in the car and drove to the park. We had a great time with food, walk, a view of Lake Michigan and fun at the playground. Our oldest nephew Jonathon was visiting that weekend and came with us to the playground. Even big kids like him and Jake can have fun at the playground!

But we lucked out - this was the weekend of The 2nd annual Summer Fest in Somonauk. So we got to see the parade ( almost the same as the 4th of July - but better) and eat junk food.

Hicham!

In July my friend Hicham finaly got granted a visa to come to America. He lives in Norway but is original from Morocco. He had 5 days in Chicago, so the girls and I drove down to Chicago to meeat with him. I have not seen him in 8-9 years.

He was also telling me that he "randomly" got checked at every check/security point between Norway and Chicago.

We took the girls to the Shreed Aquarium where we saw blue frogs, huge fishes, dolphins and other fun stuff! We had a great time.

I forgot my memory card at home, so I had to use the internal memory..... and then when I transferd the pictues from the internal memory to the card - I deleted some...... These are the once I have...

Having fun in the pool with Uncle Bubba. It was raining the whole time we were in the pool on the 4th. But the pool water was warmer then the rain water.

The cow jumped over the......

Yesterday the girls and I desided to go to Lewis (petting) farm, but they were closing in about 10 minuts so I drove down the road and found Country Dairy. It is a local dary farm that has grassing cows, an ice cream/sandwich shop. We played at the playground, had ice cream and looked at the cows. We had a great time!
